Dr. Surjeet Bhangoo has recently stepped up to fill our vacancy as medical director. Dr Bhangoo has worked with nearly every client population on grounds in her 29 years of service. She brings to the position strong diagnostic and treatment skills and a firm dedication to recovery among our consumers.

The Medical Staff at Richmond State Hospital includes Physicians (M.D. and D.O), Psychologists, and a Dentist as members. The physicians include psychiatrists (physicians who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional illnesses and substance use disorders) as well as well as physicians providing general medical care.
